I really enjoyed putting together this book themed gift guide. The idea behind all of my Gift Guides this year is that they are mostly championing independent makers & creatives and they are universal to whether it’s Christmas gifting or gifting for any other occasion. Audiobooks, Independent Book Shops & Gift Vouchers
My preferred way of consuming my books is by Audiobook. I find there is something so comforting about listening to narration and I tend to read a lot more books this way too. I’ve hit my target of 100 books these last 2 years thanks to audiobooks! You can get some an Audible Gift Voucher for membership (with options for 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months) which gives someone access to the entire Audible Library. They have a lot of books you can download for free (from their Plus Catalogue) and they’ll also get 1 credit per month in the membership which they can spend on a book to download and keep (even if the membership is later cancel you still keep those books). Even if your loved one already has a membership you can still get them a voucher and they gift voucher credits will be added to their account. Honestly, my Audible Membership is personally something I absolutely treasure, I love browsing through the library and choosing new books to listen to, so I think this is a fantastic present!
I would always recommend supporting your local bookstores, buy from them and see if they offer gift vouchers. Online gift voucher options include: Waterstones Gift Vouchers which come in both e-voucher and physical gift cards, BookShop.org Gift Vouchers are all digital but you can choose a date for it to be sent to the recipient and are valid for 2 years. You should also check out Waterstones Signed Books and Special Editions section as they have a fabulous selection and lots of exclusives! Signed books will be a gift that’s forever treasured. BookShop.org offer the full collection of Penguin Clothbound Books which are absolutely stunning and very collectible!

Storage & Organisers
I’ve found some really cute book storage baskets! Whilst they won’t hold too many books they’re perfect for popping in the one you’re currently reading and a few that are next on your TBR and keeping beside your bed, sofa or wherever you like to read. I love this Between The Pages of a Book Canvas Organiser, PU Book Organisers in four colours and the Book Lovers Organiser. There are loads more Book Basket options here including personalised ones!
If you’re looking for some unique bookends then I really like these Love Story Bookends featuring a silhouette of a couple by a lamp post on one end and a tree on the other. I know Book Nook’s have become really popular from Tik Tok recently and I found this lovely little Bookstore Book Nook with built in lights to add to your shelf.
Keeping on the theme of organisation is this Personalised Book Journal for tracking all the books your reading and your ratings. I like that it can be personalised with initials and comes in a choice of blush pink & navy or grey and burgundy.
A useful little gadget for literary lovers is a Clip on Reading Light so you can read at night time. It’s rechargeable and lasts up to 70 hours (depending on the light setting).
Bookmarks
I really love these Personalised Corner Bookmarks I found which you just slot onto the corner of your page, they come in a variety of colours and you can personalise them with the recipients initials. Next up are these Between The Pages of a Book Quote Bookmarks - more traditional looking bookmarks but they’re imposed with gold foil with the quote “between the pages of a book is a wonderful place to be” and they come in black, tan or dark red PU leather. They also offer a similar style with their One More Chapter Bookmarks. I think these little Wooden Page Holder Bookmarks are genius to hold open your books with ease and no hand cramps! Other options I like include: To Be Continued Acrylic Bookmark and Pressed Flowers Bookmark.
Clothing & Accessories
Joanie always have some kind of bookish themed clothing and currently I’m loving the Read More Books Slogan Tee, Bookshelves Cardigan, Bookshelves Dress (which I actually own myself), Book Print Button Down Dress and Read More Books Jumper.
Looking elsewhere I also found this cute Floral Book Tee and Book Lover Jumper.
I absolutely fell in love with these incredible Classic Book Bags, that replicate the look of the actual book itself, particularly the Little Women Book Crossbody Bag. There is a matching Little Women Purse and some of my other favourites include the Pride & Prejudice Purse and a Sherlock Holmes Book Bag.

Jewellery
This Personalised Book Locket caught my eye immediately. It can be engraved with either an initial or a wildflower, you can send photos to be added inside and inside each one is a specially folded hidden message to make it look like the pages of a real book!
These Upcycled Origami Book Page Earrings are so pretty and really unique. They come in Butterfly and Crane designs.
Prints
I have found some great literary themed prints including this “She is too fond of books and it has turned her brain” Print with the quote by Louisa May Alcott. The lettering is on top of an old book page as well. The next prints I found are perfect if you know someone’s favourite book. They’re Polaroid Style Prints with best selling romance book titles and images that depict the imagery from the books e.g. The Spanish Love Deception has a pretty street in Spain on it. Get a few and create a wall collage! Lastly is a Customised Book Spine Stack Print which you can customise with your choice of book titles.
Candles
Candles are always the perfect accompaniment when reading and here are some of my favourite book themed options: Night at the Library Candle, Rainy Day Readers Club Candle, Fuck Off I’m Reading Candle and Vintage Library Candle. I love how they all have an apothecary jar vibe to them.
Mugs
For the romance lover here is a Romance Trope Mug with a stack of books where the spines have classics romance tropes written on them.
